Allison strives to provide clear and concise assistance to unions and workers. She joined Nugent Law in 2026 as a research and writing lawyer and enjoys thinking through nuanced legal issues and producing persuasive written arguments. She graduated from the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Law in 2017 and clerked at the Alberta Court of King’s Bench before completing her articles at a general practice firm. Since 2020, her practice has focused on labour, employment, human rights, and privacy law. She has made submissions to the Alberta Court of Justice and Court of King’s Bench, Federal Court, the Immigration and Refugee Board, the Alberta Labour Relations Board, the Alberta Human Rights Commission, and labour arbitrators.

Prior to attending law school, Allison worked at several non-profit organizations in Edmonton. She now keeps busy outside of work chasing after her two young children and tries to fit in a reading and coffee break when she can.
