Harpreet Aulakh

Harpreet practices in a wide range of labour and employment law matters. She joined Nugent Law Office as an articling student in 2023 and was called to the Alberta bar in 2024. Harpreet has experience advising on workplace issues across various industries, ranging from construction, to manufacturing, to public sector work. She takes pride in building relationships with clients, including unions and individual employees, in her practice at Nugent Law Office.

Harpreet graduated law school from the University of Alberta, where she excelled academically and took on many extra-curricular initiatives. She served on the Law Students for Human Rights executive committee, and the Mental Health and Wellness committee. She also volunteered with Student Legal Services. Now, Harpreet looks forward to giving back to the community as a volunteer lawyer at the Edmonton Community Legal Centre.

Prior to law school, Harpreet earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Management from the University of Lethbridge, graduating with Great Distinction from the latter. Harpreet also worked in the oil and gas industry, the construction industry, and in financial services before attending law school.

Outside of work, Harpreet enjoys hot yoga, exploring Edmonton’s thriving café and bakery scene, and testing her survival skills during semi-monthly trips to Costco.
